Orani products, from local delicacies, homemade sweets, fish, shrimps, fruits and vegetables– are on sale at reduced prices at the “Kadiwa ng Pangulo” which was opened by Mayor Efren E. Pascual, Jr. last Tuesday.
The Mayor said the event is part of municipality’s program to promote local products and coincides with the forthcoming celebration of Orani’s 341st foundation year. He said the local government acquired some products at lower prices to be sold to local folks.
The “Kadiwa” will be open until April 19. “We encourage our local residents to patronize our local products,” Mayor Pascual said. In coordination with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), the municipal government also distributed financial assistance worth P2,500 to senior citizens and their dependents. The amount is part of the P5,000 financial assistance being extended by the municipal government to the needy folks.
